Фирма или лицо, которые занимаются приемом и исполнением приказов на покупку или продажу товара с отсроченной поставкой в соответствии с правилами конкретного срочного рынка. Эти брокеры в связи с поступлением подобных приказов акцептуют также деньги, ценные бумаги или недвижимость (или выдают кредит под залог этих активов) с тем, чтобы можно было вести торговлю на "марже". По Закону о товарных биржах в тех случаях, когда такие брокеры ведут торговлю "покрытыми" товарами, они должны получать лицензию.
